Client brief

Set up in 2012, Shepway Teaching Schools is part of the National Teaching School programme set up by the Government to play a key role in leading, training and professional development of teachers, support staff, deputy heads, head teachers and governors using strategic partners (local schools) in South East Kent.

We initially designed the logo, applied to letterhead and marketing material and were subsequently invited to design and build a suitable website to carry on the new concept in educational training.

Our solution

Our initial solution was simple and effective, but fun and informative. We included an online booking system with a handy calendar of events. There was a lot of information to include initially as the Teaching Schools idea was a new concept to everyone but this was conveyed using cleverly design graphics in support of the texts.

As STS evolved, in 2016, we updated and re-designed the website making it available to view across all media platforms. A Twitter feed was added and a members log in area as well as imagery supplied by local schools.

We continue to maintain the website on a monthly basis, updating the content as and when required.
