Client brief

The product designers at East of India required a partner to transform their page layouts into finished print. Accurate reproduction of colour and clarity would be essential to assure the current range of 3,500 products achieve the highest quality presentation.

Our solution

We have formed a close relationship with East of India whom we have enjoyed working with since 2005. This along with some long associations with trusted print providers enable us to build a triangle of clear communication between East of India, FbyD and our print provider, essential for a smooth production run with super consistency year on year.

The original requirement was for an 84 page perfect bound full colour brochure, printed on high quality uncoated stock, with a hand-crafted wooden flower hand adhered to the cover.  This has evolved into 188 pages, wire bound, printed in line with East of India environmental values, on recycled paper, hand finished with board covers printed in China.

Artwork preparation, proofing and print process is managed with efficiency where regular quality checks and proofing stages are scheduled as part of the production time.
